Glenn Elith
Managing Director & CEO
Glenn began his professional career in the audit division of Coopers and Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers), where he obtained his chartered accounting qualifications. He then worked for a number of organisations where he developed core competencies in leading business growth and transformation initiatives.
Glenn has built his broad commercial and strategic perspective across multiple business sectors including manufacturing, consumer goods, hospitality, retail and services. He has worked at large organisations including Lion Nathan (now Lion Co) and George Weston Foods, and at smaller entrepreneurial businesses including specialty retailer Macro Wholefoods Market (now owned by Woolworths Limited).
Glenn joined RedHill at the beginning of 2012, and quickly took the lead on recovery actions to fix and transform the then struggling organisation and deliver sustainable revenue and profit growth. He has overseen the re-establishment of employee and investor confidence in the organisation, and implemented strategies to take advantage of emerging opportunities in the private tertiary education market.
Michael Fahey
Chief Financial Officer
Michael has over 30 years of finance experience garnered across ASX listed and multi-national companies across multiple business sectors including pharmaceuticals, consumer goods, utilities and professional services. Michael has worked at leading global organisations including Swiss based pharmaceutical company, Novartis, major ASX listed companies including AGL Energy Limited as well as smaller emerging
entities. Prior to joining RedHill, Michael was the CFO and COO of ASX listed energy management company Energy Action Limited.
Michael brings deep functional finance and operational experience to RedHill including operational finance expertise, leading M&A transactions and implementing large-scale system transformations.
Michael has extensive international experience and has lived and worked in Switzerland, Singapore, England and the USA. Michael is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Finance Executives Institute.
Ruby Biscuit
General Manager – Technology & Design
Ruby has worked in the tertiary education industry since 2001, and is recognised for her broad knowledge and experience. Throughout her career Ruby has performed academic, business development, and organisational leadership roles in the ELICOS, Higher Education, and Vocational sectors at both private and public providers. She is experienced in recruiting and delivering educational services to both the international and domestic student markets.
Ruby served eight years on the board of English Australia, two years convening the Pathways Network for the International Education Association of Australia, and has been invited to contribute to a range of industry and government consultation forums. This broad experience has enabled Ruby to draw upon a detailed range of skills and insights, resulting in her renowned industry reputation
for innovative, informed and commercially astute leadership.
Roxane Ene
General Manager - Greenwich College
Roxi started her career as a primary school teacher in her native country of Romania, and soon after decided to continue her studies at Transilvania University. She worked as an English language and Romanian language teacher for 4 years in a high school in her hometown before relocating to Australia in 2004.
When Roxi arrived in Australia, she became an English language teacher at Greenwich English College. In 2009 she was appointed to the role of Assistant Director of Studies, and in 2012 was promoted to Director of Studies. In 2017 Roxi was appointed as Greenwich Dean of Education to oversee all aspects of Greenwich course development and education delivery across its different campuses.
After 13 years of work at Greenwich College, Roxi was appointed to the role of General Manager overseeing all departments across Sydney and Melbourne campuses.
Simon Costain
General Manager, Go Study Australia
Simon has been working with international and domestic student recruitment since 2004. He has a Bachelor of Commerce (Liberal Studies) from the University of Sydney, specialising in marketing and econometrics and is currently undertaking undertaking the eMBA course at UTS. As an avid traveller, Simon spent 9 years travelling the world recruiting students for experiential volunteer and cultural immersion programs as the Marketing Director for the award winning Non-Profit International Student Volunteers.
Simon is passionate about encouraging community service and engagement for all people, and has been awarded Commendation of Community Service by the Order of Australia. Since joining RedHill Education in October 2013, Simon has brought his unique approach to engaging students into the world of Higher Education and ELICOS.
Emma Thompson
Head of People & Culture
Emma had 20 years of business operations and general management experience across multiple industries including real estate and education before completing a full-time MBA at MGSM to develop her skills around everything People + Culture. It was through this journey of learning and self-discovery that she decided to make a career leap into a People + Culture leadership role.
Emma initially joined RedHill in 2011 as General Manager Operations of its interior design school. Her experience in leading operations and building effective and engaged teams made her the perfect choice to return to RedHill in a People + Culture role after completing her MBA.
Eve Ollerenshaw
General Manager, Group Quality, Accreditation & Compliance
Eve has 35 years of education industry leadership and management experience peppered with commercial, government and consulting roles. She has worked in leadership roles at a number of exclusive Sydney independent schools, Stratco QLD, Australian Technical College, Carrick Education, Think Colleges, Pharmacy Guild of Australia, the Australian government funded Workforce Futures program, and Scentia. Eve has owned and operated large retail outlets, a global business consultancy business, and a sports management and coaching business. She has held a number of board appointments including Athletics NSW, LugeAustralia, the Queensland Studies Authority, and several other not-for-profits.
Initially joining RedHill’s Technology & Design division as the Accreditation & Compliance Manager in October 2017, Eve was promoted into the role of RedHill’s Group Accreditation & Compliance Manager in July 2018. In her role she is responsible for managing organisational compliance with domestic and overseas legislation, education industry registrations and accreditations, compliance with various regulatory bodies, governmental reporting, and new course accreditations.
Shin Shimizu
General Manager, Business Development
Shin Shimizu has more than 17 years of experience in Management roles across multiple industries including Tourism, Hospitality, and Tertiary Education.
Shin joined Greenwich English College in 2006 as the General Manager and built up all facets of the business. He successfully led the business in the achievement of significant revenue and profit growth, and the relocation to the new purpose-built Pitt Street campus. In 2015, Shin was appointed the General Manager - Victoria. He continues to develop and execute the business strategies, and quality student educational outcomes and services across all RedHill schools operating in Victoria.
