Managing Director & CEO
Glenn began his professional career in the audit division of Coopers and Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers), where he obtained his chartered accounting qualifications. He then worked for a number of organisations where he developed core competencies in leading business growth and transformation initiatives.
Glenn has built his broad commercial and strategic perspective across multiple business sectors including manufacturing, consumer goods, hospitality, retail and services. He has worked at large organisations including Lion Nathan (now Lion Co) and George Weston Foods, and at smaller entrepreneurial businesses including specialty retailer Macro Wholefoods Market (now owned by Woolworths Limited).
Glenn joined RedHill at the beginning of 2012, and quickly took the lead on recovery actions to fix and transform the then struggling organisation and deliver sustainable revenue and profit growth. He has overseen the re-establishment of employee and investor confidence in the organisation, and implemented strategies to take advantage of emerging opportunities in the private tertiary education market.
General Manager, Technology & Design Division
Gabriel developed an early interest in international relations and education having lived and studied across separate continents. He brings over 17 years of commercial and management experience built from working in executive roles at large organisations including Study Group, Meritas and Navitas, and as founder/entrepreneur of small businesses in the creative industries.
Gabriel is the General Manager of RedHill Education and his accomplishments include growing revenues through development and the launch of new business units by leading teams across Australia, USA, Canada, China, South East Asia, Europe, Latin America and the Middle East.
General Manager, Greenwich English College and Greenwich Management College
Gizelle has been at the forefront of international education since 2002. She has primarily worked as a business leader and sales & marketing professional with a number of reputable providers. Gizelle has comprehensive experience in leading global marketing and sales teams, creating and implementing innovative business development strategies. Gizelle has continuously demonstrated exceptional leadership and analytical capabilities with a focus on surpassing set sales targets, recruiting, building and retaining successful teams, and delivering solutions within budgets and timelines.
General Manager, Go Study Australia
Simon has been working with international and domestic student recruitment since 2004. He has a Bachelor of Commerce (Liberal Studies) from the University of Sydney, specialising in marketing and econometrics and is currently undertaking undertaking the eMBA course at UTS. As an avid traveller, Simon spent 9 years travelling the world recruiting students for experiential volunteer and cultural immersion programs as the Marketing Director for the award winning Non-Profit International Student Volunteers.
Simon is passionate about encouraging community service and engagement for all people, and has been awarded Commendation of Community Service by the Order of Australia. Since joining RedHill Education in October 2013, Simon has brought his unique approach to engaging students into the world of Higher Education and ELICOS.
General Manager, Victoria
Shin Shimizu has more than 17 years of experience in Management roles across multiple industries including Tourism, Hospitality, and Tertiary Education.
Shin joined Greenwich English College in 2006 as the General Manager and built up all facets of the business. He successfully led the business in the achievement of significant revenue and profit growth, and the relocation to the new purpose-built Pitt Street campus. In 2015, Shin was appointed the General Manager - Victoria. He continues to develop and execute the business strategies, and quality student educational outcomes and services across all RedHill schools operating in Victoria.
General Manager of Marketing
David has over 10 years international marketing experience, working in both client and agency roles across the education, finance, not-for-profit and telecommunication industries. David brings comprehensive customer acquisition, customer relationship management and digital marketing experience to his role at RedHill, and has worked for organisations including American Express, PayPal, Optus and Scentia.
David is passionate about marrying data and insights to drive positive customer experiences. Since joining RedHill in 2018, David has been focused on driving the strategic marketing framework and capabilities across the group.
Group Accreditation & Compliance Manager
Eve has 35 years of education industry leadership and management experience peppered with commercial, government and consulting roles. She has worked in leadership roles at a number of exclusive Sydney independent schools, Stratco QLD, Australian Technical College, Carrick Education, Think Colleges, Pharmacy Guild of Australia, the Australian government funded Workforce Futures program, and Scentia. Eve has owned and operated large retail outlets, a global business consultancy business, and a sports management and coaching business. She has held a number of board appointments including Athletics NSW, LugeAustralia, the Queensland Studies Authority, and several other not-for-profits.
Initially joining RedHill’s Technology & Design division as the Accreditation & Compliance Manager in October 2017, Eve was promoted into the role of RedHill’s Group Accreditation & Compliance Manager in July 2018. In her role she is responsible for managing organisational compliance with domestic and overseas legislation, education industry registrations and accreditations, compliance with various regulatory bodies, governmental reporting, and new course accreditations.
Group People & Culture Manager
Emma had 20 years of business operations and general management experience across multiple industries including real estate and education before completing a full-time MBA at MGSM to develop her skills around everything People + Culture. It was through this journey of learning and self-discovery that she decided to make a career leap into a People + Culture leadership role.
Emma initially joined RedHill in 2011 as General Manager Operations of its interior design school. Her experience in leading operations and building effective and engaged teams made her the perfect choice to return to RedHill in a People + Culture role after completing her MBA.
Group Financial Controller
John is a Chartered Accountant, having graduated from University College Cork with a B.Sc Accounting and articled with Crowe Howarth in Dublin. He completed a Post Grad Diploma in IFRS in 2010.
John has extensive financial reporting experience in audit and compliance functions, and spent 3 years post-qualification working for Google in Dublin with US GAAP and group financial consolidations.
John migrated to Australia in 2011, and quickly adapted to the ASX environment by taking up key financial reporting roles in Newcrest Mining and its spin-off mid-tier gold miner Evolution Mining. This experience took him to Leighton's in 2013 where he was exposed to large transactions, remote overseas mining & construction projects, operational finance and systems transformation.
John’s exposure ranges from technical financial reporting to operational finance issues, including start-up environments. He is passionate about partnering with key functional stakeholders to capitalise on growth and improvement opportunities.
